Introducing - Sales VP Content Pack
The Sales VP Content pack is a Data Visualization starter kit designed for use by a Sales VP or a Sales exec, enabling the user to perform self-service analytics on critical sales data. It contains a number of pre-built analysis templates and OTBI reports with rich analytical content that generates insights and also uncovers hidden data patterns. Pre-built connectors to Oracle Sales are included in the content pack thereby enabling analytics on actual data. Finally, excel Samples are provided for each analysis for illustration purposes to provide a user with a quick of the analytics included in the content pack.

Yes, the content pack should work against R11 sales cloud as well. Please ensure to extract the OTBI reports in the correct location as documented in the user guide. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Is there a way to embed DV content within Fusion Application, much like how one would embed BI reports, for instance in a side-tab? If yes, can someone please share any documentation on how this can be achieved? Thanks!

Yes. Assuming you have a DVCS environment, the steps are similar to embedding BI reports in a sidetab.
At a high level, here’s what you do - Create a new BI dashboard. Embed the full URL to the DV project (from your DVCS repository) inside this dashboard. Configure the side tab to show the dashboard/DVCS project.
There are a couple of minor configuration steps that you may have to do additionally to get this working.
