    Auto create an Incident

    Hi All,

    Is there a way to auto-create an Incident? For Eg: Assume that Customer has a follow up task of maintaining Servers monthly or Weekly AC maintenance.

    You could create a "campaign". It can have a recurring start point and in there you can create an incident.

      Thanks Scott, but I have to agree with Walter here(no offense) smiley REST or SOAP call makes it more easier than writing a script inside a report.

      This idea was in my head but I had following questions:

      • Can we call a Connect PHP API inside Reports(A sample code would be great)
      • By CBO, do you mean We need to have date-time entries inside CBO as a record and schedule a report to check constantly with Date and Time and then run the process I want?
      • Can we embed logs inside Report Scripts?

      Hi Walter,

      I achieved this through Campaigns - Only off the track fact is Campaign is triggered 6 minutes late fro scheduled. But anyhow it does create Incident in the end.

      And anyone facing similar problem just remember to enable Outgoing email to in Outreach mailbox which is a must.
