    Hello, Community.

     

    We are setting up in Oracle Cloud and Company isn't available in AP or AR modules when I've setup accounting for System Option for example.

     

    I've checked in GL Legal Entity, Business Unit and Chart of Account and Company appear.

     

    Anyone here in community have an idea for what's going on?

      Hello fellow colleague!
      This is interesting indeed. Can you confirm that when you are in Manage Chart of Account Value Sets, that all the values for the Company segment are enabled?
      Please provide a screenshot of this as well. In the mean time, I will try to find some supporting documentation for this issue.

        I've also found this documentation which indicates that if you have done manual updates to your segments, the system turn around time is quite long. Have you completed a lot of manual updates to that segment?

        Thanks for anwser my doubt. I attached in this post 2 word documents with this issue.

        Others segments of chart of accouts show a list fo values except Company.

        Could u see word documents in this post?

          Yes, I saw your documents. As indicated, it's either because an update was manually done to the segment afterwards which causes delays in it being accessible or there is a system bug. Have you raised an SR with Oracle? Have you verified if you can see the values today?

            Hello, Felix.

            I opened a SR (SR #3-18662610511: List of Values in Flexfield isn't available in AR e AP) in my Oracle Support. I can't see values today. Problem also happen in AP module but in GL module I can see list of values for company.

            We checked all setup done in GL.

      Hello Marcia,

      In general ledger setup - Are company (BSV) segment values assigned to LE or ledger?

      We faced a similar issue and it was to do with data corruption in BSV segment to LE. It was sorted by end dating existing assignment and and re-enabling same on same record. These actions triggered refresh of data in few back end table which solved our issue.

      Not sure whether cause of your issue is same but you may want to review from BSV assignment point of view.

          Hi Marcia,

          You may explore and check general ledger setup "Assign Balancing Segment Values to Legal Entities". In case balancing segment values (i.e. company segment in your case) are assigned to LE then try editing same to trigger back end data refresh. If this does not resolve issue, please continue working with Oracle support for resolution.

          Do share final resolution received from Oracle support team for information of community members.
