    Title:
    Interview Styles ${Rulebase} string substitution
    Summary:
    Is there a way to get OPA to substitute an attribute value into the ${Rulebase}?
    Content:

    Hello,

    The standard string for a echeckpoint-option-screen-title is: Options for your ${Rulebase}

    Is there a way to have the ${Rulebase} automatically substitute the name of the rule base or the text from an attribute into this string?

    Thank you,

    Scott

    Hi Scott,

    Unfortunately, there isn't any way to access an attribute value into the configurable messages that are shown by OPA at different points.

      Is there a list of other variable available for use in the styles/strings similar to how ${rulebase} is avaialble?

    • Brad Tuckett

      No, because unlike the other messages that are configured within the active interview, the checkpoint-option-screen-title message is shown *before* OPA starts the interview (since it don't know whether to load the checkpoint interview or create a new interview) so the only information available is the name of the policy model being loaded.
