    Title:
    DBaaS APEX Admin password reset
    Summary:
    DBaaS APEX Admin password reset
    Content:

    Just set up 30 Day trial DBaaS. Everything is working great except APEX will not accept my password.

    I request a password reset. Oracle says it sees my email address and will send a reset.

    The email never arrives. It is the correct email address.

    1. I'm using the password that was used when the database was set up (also tried several others).

    2. All ten Access Rules have been successfully enabled.

    3. Desktop SQL*Developer has been successfully connected to Trial DBaaS.

    4. A new database has been successfully created in the trial account. SQL*Developer sees the tables.

    How can I get into DBaaS APEX?

    Thanks for your help,

    Steve

      Good morning,

              For changing any APEX users password it has to be done through ORDS , please try below steps as root user and let me know if that works. This one I used for DBaaS monitor user.

      as root user

      #Modify the password including the role that use have been grated

      STEP1 -> cd /u01/app/oracle/product/ords/

      STEP2 -> java -jar ords.war user dbaas_monitor "OSAdmin"

      #Adjust the permission of the Folder if needed

      STEP3 -> chown oracle:oinstall /u01/app/oracle/product/ords/conf/ords/credentials
      STEP4 -> chmod 644 /u01/app/oracle/product/ords/conf/ords/credentials
