Check Printing on Both sides of Check in Fusion R13
    Summary:
Check Printing on Both sides of Check in Fusion R13
    Content:

    Hi,

We have a requirement where client wants the AP Check printing to be done on both sides of the check. We are on Fusion R13.

    - Front side : normal check data and Remittance Details

    - Back side : static text on the BACK of each check and some other Details

What should be done to achieve the above requirement.

    regards

    Udit

My understanding is that in the Cloud SaaS version of BI Publisher, you cannot take advantage of the PCL commands that would allow you to achieve this.  When we ran across this requirement, our solution was to open the PDF and us the local PC printer options to print on both sides.

      Udit,

I don't think this can be done.  The XML formats will not support flipping the document and printing on the other side.   How have they accomplished this in the past?

To Chris and Becky's points, this isn't possible out of SaaS. Another work around is to use a Third Party Check Printer and create an extract out of cloud to provide the needed details. Not sure logging an SR in the hopes of generating an ER will help in this scenario either.

      Hi,

We are still in process of getting the requirements from the Client as they are moving from On Premise System to Cloud.

Client is using PCL commands for Printing Documents in Legacy system.

But on Cloud , We can not Convert PDF to PCL format until we setup Printer on cloud.

      Regards

      Udit

I agree with Logan and would look to a 3rd party on the Cloud Marketplace if you need to find a solution.
