load data from PLANNING to FCCS using Data Management
    Content:

I have an instance of Planning Enterprise and I configured Data Management to load data to a target application of FCCS Enterprise , the process runs smoothly until EXPORT but in the target application (FCCS) the consolidation rule is not executed and does not generate the report from CHECK:

Seems a bug though, from the log it seems you use Hybrid Essbase, FCCS use Essbase as DB, since Hybrid is dynamic, so data consolidation is not supported?

Better to raise SR to Oracle.

    Thanks,

Hi Dan Wizard, Thank you very much for your response, I effectively put an SR with Oracle and they replied that it is not possible for ESSBASE compatibility.

      Hi Sebastian,

Let's take a step back for the moment.  I just want to clarify:  You have registered the FCCS application inside of the PBCS data-management?  Can you also please attach the first 10 lines of your process details log?

What happens if you switch the process around:  Register the PBCS inside of the FCCS application?  So in theory instead of the data being a push the data can be a pull?

      Thank you,
      Wayne

Hi Wayne, Thank you very much for your response.

The objective was to use a just Data Management to upload data to Planning and FCCS at the same time with the same mappings.

An alternative, is what you say loading from FCCS, but unfortunately the client prefers to do it from Planning

Wayne is correct. Here, hybrid deployment refers to FCCS application defined remotely from PBCS Data Management.

You should consider registering the PBCS remotely from FCCS Data Management & push the data locally.

Hi thejas, thank you very much for your answer, you're right, upload from PBCS to FCCS, but the client doesn't want it that way.
