    Title:
    Multi-lingual Support for Add-in
    Content:

    I am writing an add-in for RightNow CX which has a WPF GUI. The various labels that are used are currently hard-coded in English but I need to make this multi-lingual. I have been informed that the right way to do this is via message bases, but I cannot find any documentation on how to use message bases within an add-in for this purpose. It would be very helpful if someone could point me to relevant documentation or even better if I could get some sample code demonstrating the use of message bases. It would be even more helpful if the sample code showed how to use message bases within WPF.

      I would suggest to use Custom Objects instead of the Messagebase.

      Package = Messagebase

      CO = Messagebase.Text

      • Messagebase.Text.ID
      • Messagebase.Text.LanguageID
      • Messagebase.Text.Key
      • Messagebase.Text.Value

      CO = Messagebase.Language

      • Messagebase.Language.ID
      • Messagebase.Language.Code
