    Title:
Using Microsoft Active Directory in FCCS
    Content:

    Hi All,

on new FCCS implementation I need to use the User Directory for user and password.

do you know what is the reference documentation to use MSAD in Oracle identity cloud / FCCS? I found this tutorial https://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/cloud/idcs/idcs_idbridge_obe/idbridge.html I would like to know if that documentation is the primary reference.

    Regards

    Gianluca

      Hello Gianluca,

In order to authenticate to MSAD, you will need an IdP.  For active directory this is an additional "plug-in" to the directory for federated services.  This enables SAML based authentication.  The link you have provided is for something complete different.

The below link will provide more information.  Although it is listed as PBCS, it is still relevant since security over-arches all products.

      Thank you,

        Hello Wayne,

just another question, Client told me that their AD is not compatible with Federation Services V2.0. In this scenario is there other way to use their MSAD?

        Thank you

        Gianluca
