    Confirm Release 8 Upgrade Dates

    Hello Oracle Applications Cloud Customer –

    We are excited about the upcoming delivery of Oracle Applications Cloud Release 8 and want to ensure you have a successful upgrade. Details about your scheduled upgrade dates, required confirmation, and readiness resources follow.

    Scheduled Upgrade Dates for Your Environments (specific environment details are in your direct notification)

    • TEST/STAGE1 Environment: #Date# (hh:mm) US/Pacific
    • PRODUCTION Environment: #Date# (hh:mm) US/Pacific

    Estimated downtime is 24-48 hours for each environment that is upgraded. The actual downtime may vary depending on the size of your data and the number of language packs installed.

    NEXT STEPS: Confirm Your Upgrade

    Log a Service Request (SR) within the next week.
    Note: Make sure that you are in the My Oracle Support view and not in the Cloud Support view. If you need to switch mode, please click on the "Switch to My Oracle Support" link in the upper right corner before creating the SR.
    Next, select the “Create SR” button from the Service Requests Section or Tab, and follow the prompts as per below:

    What is the Problem?

    • Problem Summary: Release 8 Upgrade Confirmation
    • Problem Description: Release 8 Upgrade Confirmation

    Where is the Problem?  Select the Cloud Tab, then enter the following:

    • Service Type: Select the Oracle Fusion Cloud Service to be upgraded
    • Problem Type: Select “Hosting Services – Maintenance” > “Upgrade Confirmation”
    • Support Identifier: Defaults to your CSI number

    Click Next to Answer the Questionnaire.

    Failure to log an Upgrade Confirmation SR, will result in your upgrade being moved to a later, mandatory upgrade date.
