    Outbound SMS notifications to technicians

    Hello friends,

    We are currently trying to achieve the below mentioned functionality.

    Whenever an activity is assigned from a bucket to a technician, an SMS should be sent automatically to the technician. Can this be achieved using Oracle Field Service cloud.

    Currently as per our process when an SR is created in service cloud, using Integration Cloud Service, an activity is created in the bucket in Field service cloud.

    Kindly advise.

      Hi Zsolt,

      I have referred the other post mentioned. As per that post, I have created the delivery channel but to configure the channel we use the host,port, url path details. The one provided by the client is not in the format that can be configured on OFSC. Should the sms gateway details provided by the client be in any particular format so as to configure it on OFSC?

      Hi Navin,

      If your SMS gateway isn't accept the OFSC's syntax, then you may need to use a middleware to combine them together.
