    Title:
    Adhoc payment Functionality
    Summary:
    Adhoc payment Functionality
    Content:

I am using following method to use Ad-hoc payments in Fusion Cash Management cloud service

Create Payee (Define Payee Name, Address, Bank Account etc,.)

Create Ad-hoc payment (Provided Source Bank Account,  Payee Information, Payment Details, Payment Processing details and Accounting Information (Both Offset and Cash clearing))

I can see the payment request (Process: Format payment files) generates the SWIFT payment file based on my selection under Payment Profile.

Now, Under manage  adhoc payment the payment status shows "Formatted".

    Questions:-

    1) What should be the payment status "Formatted" or is there any other process required to run to make it complete?

    2) How do i generate accounting for such Ad-hoc payments ? (i tried create accounting option from Cash management and tried generating accounting however it didn't generate the accounting for such Ad-hoc payments) ?

    3) Can anyone give me the end-to-end process (as described above) and documentation on it?

How this Ad-hoc payment feature intended to work ?

Once you have formatted the payment, then it sent over to Payables for payment so you would process it like you would any other electronic payment.  This means you would go to Invoices > Payments and then Create Electronic Payment Files and create the electronic payment file and then send to the bank.

      Thanks for your response Becky.

I tried the step (Invoices > Payments > Create Electronic Payment File) however i couldn't select the ad-hoc payment reference that was originally initiated in cash management.  The list of parameters didn't show me the reference information (apart from Disbursement Bank Account, BU, Payment process profile) for selecting those payments made Out of Cash management(Ad-hoc payment).

Can you share the exact step-by-step document how you were able to achieve this?  OR Am i missing anything?

I have attached the Bank Transfer and Ad Hoc Payment training slides that I have start with slide 25 and see if that helps you with the next steps.  You have pointed out something I just did not realize is that we don't document this any place.  I will look into this.

Please be aware for bulk One Time Payments, we also support spreadsheet upload of Payment Request in AP for things like Insurance Claims Payments, Student Refunds, Jury Duty Payments, Patient Refunds, etc.

        Hi Becky,

Could you by chance send me the other CE Trainings related to Cash Management? I think there is 9 of them total. I attended the training in March but was not provided the documents in my beehive.

Let me know if you have any questions. My email is tony.barbato@elire.com

        Thank you,

        Tony

        Hi Becky,

Can you please send me all the 08 PPTs or help me with the link where I can get all the session. I looked around but not able to get my hands on other 07 sessions. So if you can send it over to sbarsaiyan@deloitte.com, that will be really helpful.

        Thanks

        Satyam

My pleasure. I have attached here as a 7z zip so others can download if they want them.  Let me know if you need in different compressed format.

    • Becky Alvarez

Ok looks like it did not like that format so here they are in plain zip file.

Thank you Becky. I have been searching for these docs too.

Is there a streaming recording links for these 8 sessions?

        Regards,

If there are they would be on OPN somewhere or on most likely on Oracle iLearning as a self learning class. You would have to look them up on those forums as I cannot provide those. You can request these to be done on Customer Connect or check the Events and see if any of them have been done and download form the events page.  I just can't provide anything that is in OPN or iLearning to anyone as that does require access.

        Hi Becky,

I tried checking in ilearning. Will check on OPN also. Will check on the previous events on Customer Connect also.
