For partners that build or integrate commercially available applications and service solutions with the Oracle Cloud Platform
For partners that provide implementation or managed services around Oracle Cloud Applications
We are looking at the following areas that says they will flow into PPM:
Jobs/positions, hierarchies, locations & competancies
As I know PPM (Awards/Contracts/Projects) now, I can't figure out how this information would be used in PPM and then know how to test it.
If we don't need theses areas, can they be turned off. We did experience (for p-cards only) that if an assignment change occurred for an individual...any p-card charges prior to the change were not longer recognized as valid even though that person didn't have a break in service...just an assignment change. UW is not using resource management for personnel.

Hi Kim,
The areas that you are looking for: Jobs/positions, hierarchies, locations & competencies
may be useful in Oracle Fusion Project Resource Management when getting the resources evaluated by the staffing owner for a new project assignment.
Please see:

Resource Qualifications
One measure of a resource's suitability for a project assignment is whether the resource has the qualifications and proficiency levels that are specified on a project resource request. Administrators set up qualifications and proficiency levels when they set up the workforce in Oracle Fusion HCM.
