Hi All,
I have a question related to Hierarchy Order in FCCS Account Dimension.
A month ago I modified the order of "Income Statement Hierarchy" than the predefined order ("Income Statement Hierarchy" is above "Balance Sheet Hierarchy").
After last automatic update, I see the native order of the Account Dimension ("Income Statement Hierarchy" is below the "Balance Sheet Hierarchy").
In this way, I have a surplus because the Income Statement Hierarchy was created as shared Member in "Balance Sheet Hierarchy". If I have to respect the native order I need to create the "Income Statement Hierarchy" as a shared member.
Thanks in advance,
Antonio
Hi,
Why you are creating shared income statement hierarchy under Balance Sheet? You can directly create the members of income statement under seeded FCCS_Retained Earnings Current hierarchy.
And yes after every automatic update in FCCS seeded members will be moved back to Original hierarchy. So its better to use FCCS_Retained Earnings Hierarchy for Income Statement accounts.
Thanks,
Thanks for your answer.
I will follow your advice.
Antonio
I confirm that the "Income Statement" Hierarchy must be in "Balance Sheet" Hierarchy.
In this way, FCCS works properly.
