    Title:
Though a PO line is cancelled, CANCEL_FLAG column is still blank
    Summary:
Though a PO line is cancelled, CANCEL_FLAG column is still blank
    Content:

We cancelled a PO line.  But, PO_LINES_ALL.CANCEL_FLAG (and also PO_LINE_LOCATIONS_ALL.CANCEL_FLAG) is still blank.  Whereas other columns CANCELLED_By, CANCELLED_DATE were populated correctly.  Anybody know why CANCEL_FLAG is not updated to Y?

    Thanks,

    Uma

      Hi Uma,

Is this causing any problem in the application?

        Hi Ivan,

No problem in the application.  But, impacting our third party application which processes invoices.  We need to identify cancelled POs at deifferent levels (header/line/shipment).  In R12, we refer to CANCEL_FLAG to check whether a PO is cancelled at any level.  In R12, this column is populated as Y in the respective table based on the level at which PO is cancelled.

But, In Fusion Cloud, this column is not being populated with Y and remains blank eventhouhg a PO is cancelled.

Wondering, Is this intended functionality or a bug?

        Thanks,

        Uma

Hi-> are you extracting the canceled PO's using report..?

          • Umamaheswara Reddy Karri

Yes Amar.  We use BI Publisher report to extract PO information.  As a work around to this issue, we changed our logic to refer to other columns like CANCEL_DATE to check for cancellations.
