    Hi Senthil

Above topics were probably beyond the scope of the session.
Please follow the link 'https://www.oracle.com/solutions/business-analytics/products/destination-guides/‘ which provides details of options available basis the destination a customer chooses. Oracle Analytics for Applications is one of the options customers can evaluate.

We would keep customers and partners posted about any future sessions which covers the above topics in more details.

    Regards

    Hi Senthil

Please see below responses to the questions..

    1. Roadmap for Migrating OBIEE/BI Apps customer moving from EBS to Fusion cloud.
Customers are encouraged to evaluate various Analytics products basis the current installed products and / or Destination desired
The link below describes Analytics products offered.

    https://www.oracle.com/solutions/business-analytics/products.html

As the customer migrates to ERP Cloud, they should evaluate Oracle Analytics for Applications for future cloud centric analytics needs. Please note, there is no upgrade path from BI Apps specifically to 'Oracle Analytics for Applications'. Almost all the customers take ERP / SCM Cloud implementations as an opportunity to transform their business processes and adopt a best-practice driven out of box solution. Oracle Analytics for Fusion implementations are not an upgrade from BI Apps but an opportunity to get a fresh start with a new SaaS product.

    2. What is available in Oracle Fusion OTBI/BI Publisher vs BI Apps
OTBI provides for embedded transactional reporting capabilities which should give customers a good start on the transaction reporting needs on data sourced from ERP/SCM Cloud. However, if you want to expand to more advanced use cases including 3rd party data, historical trends across multiple years then customer should evaluate other Analytics products
    3. Creating custom OTBI Subject Area's etc...
Custom OTBI subject areas are not supported.

    Regards

    Hemant

    Hello

I have uploaded the data lineage for SCM and PRC for Release 19C.

This spreadsheet provides the mappings of SCM & PRC OTBI subject areas and columns to database tables and columns and to view objects. You can use this sheet to search for a reporting column by subject area or to trace the database table and column or view object for a corresponding subject area column.

    Regards
