Hi guys,
We're currently working in an application that does not have the Ownership Module enable. It's an organization with 10 companies, all fully owned. Eliminations are working all OK, except for the investment in subs/Common stock elimination. We were going to enable the module but before doing that, we wanted to know if someone has worked with an application that does not have the module enabled. If that is the case, did you make the both Investment in Subs/Common stock IC accounts and then create a plug account to link them? Could that work?
Thanks!
Hi guys,
Our client prefers to make the adjustments directly to FCCS_Retained Earnings Prior instead of using an adjustment account. Is there any warning against that practice? I couldn't find anything in the documentation.
Please, let me know if you have some experience with that approach.
Thanks!
Ligia
Hi guys,
Probably a basic question, but it would be useful to get a confirmation. We loaded YTD data in December 2016 and both Periodic and YTD have been populated in that month. In Jan 2017, we have loaded Periodic data. We also mapped all accounts to the movements dimension for Cash Flow purposes.
While creating the reports, we noticed that the only way to show the client Periodic and YTD data is working with two different Movements: (FCCS_Mvmts_Total and FCCS_ClosingBalance, respectively). So, we're building two BG and IS.
Is this the way you usually do your reports in FCCS?
Thanks!
Hi all,
In the past, we have loaded data to FCCS_Managed Data with no issues. However, a client requested to have different data source members. We created those new members in the Data Source dimension. What we noticed is that when we loaded data with DM, the numbers in those members are doubled after running a consolidation. If we load data to FCCS_Managed Data, numbers are correct.
We're currently checking the settings in DM and trying using other members, but we have not succeeded to identify the root cause yet. Have you experienced this in the past?
Thanks!
