    REST Webservices to get Cycle Count items within a LocatorAnswered115.0

    Title:
    REST Webservices to get Cycle Count items within a Locator
    Summary:
    Looking for REST Webservice which would return cycle count items based on Cycle count name and Locator
    Content:

    Hi All,

    I am trying to get Cycle count items within a locator, is there a webservice available to get this information?

    Here is my process :

    I am using REST Webservices Rel 13 18 A for doing Cycle count.

    1. Get cycle count definitions information using : /fscmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.02/cycleCountDefinitions

    2.Get Cycle Count subinventories associated with the cycle count name selected above : /fscmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.02/cycleCountDefinitions/{CycleCountHeaderId}/child/countSubinventories

    3.Get all locator within the subinventory selected above : /fscmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.02/activeLocators?q=SubinventoryCode=Stores

    Once the locator is selected, I would like to show the cycle count items within that locator for that Cycle Count

    the existing webservice : /fscmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.02/cycleCountDefinitions/{CycleCountHeaderId}/child/countItems does not support it, the output would give you the items for that Cycle count but does not include locator/subinventory information in it.

    {
      "items" : [ {
        "CycleCountItemId" : 300100002756510,
        "InventoryItemId" : 663838,
        "ItemNumber" : "CYC01-100",
        "ItemDescription" : "Plain Item",
        "AbcClassId" : 42,
        "AbcClass" : "Class A",

    REST Webservice to perform Work Order CompletionAnswered5
    Topic posted September 6, 2018 by Shravan Kumar ChelikaRed Ribbon: 250+ Points, tagged Manufacturing MDM, Manufacturing Analytics, Production Execution, Work Execution, Work Request Management in Manufacturing & Maintenance > Manufacturing public
    Title:
    REST Webservice to perform Work Order Completion
    Summary:
    Looking for sample payload REST Service to perform Work Order Completion
    Content:

    Hi All,

    I am trying to do Work Order completion using REST Webservices similar to the Oracle Cloud UI (please see image-Oracle Cloud - Review Dispatch List).

    Following the REST API documentation from Oracle :

    /fscmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.05/materialTransactions

    The sample payload provided works fine for WIP Issue.

    TransactionTypeCode: string

     Title: Transaction Type Code

    Maximum Length: 30
    Abbreviation that determines the material transaction type. Valid values are MATERIAL_ISSUE, MATERIAL_NEGATIVE_ISSUE, MATERIAL_RETURN, MATERIAL_NEGATIVE_RETURN, ORDERLESS_COMPLETION, ORDERLESS_RETURN, ORDERLESS_RETURN_SCRAP, and ORDERLESS_SCRAP. A list of accepted values is defined in the lookup type ORA_WIE_MTL_TXN_TYPE.

    From the FND_LOOKUPS table :

    select *
    from fnd_lookups
    where lookup_type='ORA_WIE_MTL_TXN_TYPE'

    Shows that for Product completion the code is -

    LOOKUP_TYPE LOOKUP_CODE MEANING DESCRIPTION
    ORA_WIE_MTL_TXN_TYPE PRODUCT_COMPLETION Product completion

    Completion of product from work order to inventory

    I have tried to use the same payload to do WorkOrder Completion:

          {
             "OrganizationCode" : "M1",
             "SubinventoryCode" : "STORES",
             "Locator" : "",
             "TransactionDate" : "2018-09-06 08:56:00-07:00",
             "TransactionQuantity" : 10,
             "TransactionTypeCode" : "PRODUCT_COMPLETION",
             "WoOperationSequenceNumber" : 20,
             "WorkOrderNumber" : "DSI_WO_1004",
             "InventoryItemNumber" : "DSI_TABLET5000"
          }
       ]
    }

    The error received is :

                "ErrorMessages": "The value PRODUCT_COMPLETION provided for the Transaction Type attribute is invalid.",
                "ErrorMessageNames": "WIE_WOMT_TXT_INVALID",

    What am I missing here? Am I using the right REST API?

    Thanks,

    Shravan

    Summary:
    WIP Issue with Partial Quantity for WorkOrder
    Content:

    Hi All,

    I have a question on WIP Issue in Work Execution.

    Lets say I have an operation 10 with operation items - MotherBoard, Speakers with required quantity of 10 and with Supply type as 'Push'

    When I try to Report Material Transactions - WIP Issue for one of the component(MotherBoard) and  if I transact quantity of 5. The quantity gets transacted but when I get back to Report Material Transactions - WIP Issues screen, I see only one line to be issued for component (Speakers)

    I am expecting to see 2 lines to be issued.

    MotherBoard with Required quantity of 5
    Speakers with Required quantity of 10

    I might be missing something/some setup,could someone point me to the right direction..

    Please check the attached images 'Before WIP Issue of components' and 'After WIP Issue of components'

    Batch Actions in REST API for Oracle SCM Cloud2

    Title:
    Batch Actions in REST API for Oracle SCM Cloud
    Summary:
    Looking for an example to use batch actions in REST API
    Content:

    Hi All,

    We are on Release 13 18 B and trying to use the "Batch Actions' as mentioned in the Oracle documentation :

    https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/supply-chain-management/18b/fasrp/Batch_Actions.html

    The document states that :

    "You can combine multiple operations into a single HTTP request to improve performance. The request body is a JSON object with a field named parts, which is an array of objects. Each object in the array contains the following:

    • A unique ID
    • A relative path to the resource
    • An operation
    • A payload (optional)

    I am trying to use batch actions in the following scenario :

    1. Get information for a single Subinventory

    2.Update description for that Subinventory

    I am using the attached request in POSTMAN , please see attached image (Batch Action for Subinventory). It results in '400 Bad Request',the request I am passing is incorrect and I am looking for the correct request...

    Thanks,

    Shravan

    Hello All,

    We are looking into product options which can address the following functionalities :

    We are looking for a data replication or ETL tool that can extract data from Oracle Cloud’s database into an on-premise (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL) or cloud (Oracle/MySQL) database that we can use to integrate into applications.

    A key component of the replication is we need to be able to extract all data that fits our business needs as well as incremental changes to the data throughout the day.

    Please advise.
