Hi Helen,
There is also an option that you can do at report level which when set to true will not merge columns in the excel output.
you can use it in future, if there is a need. So, after this setting, even your new modified template will not return merged columns.
Thanks,
Sricharan
Hi Rashmi,
I don't think there is a possibility to attach images + get html o/p in email using bursting...
You can get html attachment or html o/p in body..
Thanks,
Sricharan
Hi Bharat,
I have created a similar report and posted it at below link:

Hi Bharat,
Did you figure out a way to generate report in the attached formats??
I also have similar requirement and am looking for pointers to get started.
If you have created a report for this, can you share it here.
Thanks,
Sricharan
Hi Visu,
We do not have access to the BI Publisher underlying tables to get this data.. Raise an SR and post it in the idea lab.
Thanks,
Sricharan
For those who don't have access to support, here is the fix for this issue.
Hi Lee,
Password protected excel is still not possible in the latest release.. Not sure if it is being worked upon by the development team.
Thanks,
Sricharan
Can you post the query that you used to convert it to IST?
The login time will be converted to UTC time and it gets stored on this table.. you can write a query to convert it back to IST and then generate a report out of it.
try something like this sample:
SELECT TRUNC(CAST(SYSTIMESTAMP AT TIME ZONE 'America/New_York' AS DATE)) effective FROM dual
the ap1 in the link refers to apac (asia pacific) region.. i m not sure on where the server resides.. mostly it would be in US..
Thanks,
Sricharan
As I said this is not an issue with POD.. please find the solution below from Oracle Support on Chrome browser issue
Fusion BI - BI Publisher OTBI - BI Report PDF Output Downloaded With HTML File Extension Rather Than PDF File Extension (Doc ID 2326149.1)
The issue is with the Google Chrome web-browser PDF settings.
Google Chrome web-browser PDF settings were turned off.
You need to enable the PDF viewer in Chrome:
- Go to Google Chrome Settings
- Advanced
- Content settings
- PDF documents
- Turn on option: "Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome"
If the issue is resolved, mark this thread as completed which will help others with similar issue.
I think it is not an application issue. It should be with some setting in your laptop/desktop.
Can you try this.. Click on the settings icon above the print option and click on export to pdf..
let me know if it works.
Thanks,
Sricharan
Hi Gaurav,
Change the Default o/p format in the report properties to PDF..
Thanks,
Sricharan
Hi Rashmi,
You can use the Direct Database SQL option in the analytics to get the BI Query o/p in analytics.
Check https://biapplications.wordpress.com/tag/direct-database-query/

Hi Naveen,
We do not have control on those options for SaaS customers. We will have to wait for response on SR.
Keep us posted on the updates.
Thanks,
Sricharan
Hi Naveen,
As far as I know we don't have the flexibility to control the options in the export hyperlink. We can hide/unhide that option but we cannot control the o/p types.
Please raise an SR and update here with your findings.
Thanks,
Sricharan
