Hi ,
I think EFF (Extensible Flexfields) are not supported for use in Item Structures.

Hi ,
I think hierarchy is not allowed in Functional Area Catalogs . Would you please verify if any recent updates are there?
Thanks
Hi Sunil,
Item structure represent the bills of material of an item. It always represent for one unit of product item. But in OPM, formula is defined for more than one (1) unit of primary product. Even in OPM formula, we can have multiple product (Co-Product ) and By-Product as well. So, there is a lot of differences between item structure and OPM Formula structure. I think , due to this reason, item structure is not applicable for OPM products at this moment.

Hi Niamath,
Would you please share any link or document in which the Sold To BU default logic is described?. I checked the option that you have mentioned but here actually the requirement is somewhat different. Business wants to derive the sold to BU based on the requestor associated LE. What we have seen that the sold LE can be defaulted based on the setup on requisition business function or the relevant inventory organization or supplier site assignment but how it would be defaulted when we use expense item?

Uttam
Hi,
It looks like you have not defined the following for the said BU.
1. "Manage Receivables System Options",
2. Manage AutoAccounting Rules,
3. Manage Remit to Addresses,
4. Manage Receivables Activities
Once completed, please retest the issue.
Thanks

Hi Deepika,
Orders are coming from e-commerce gateway, interface from other 3rd party application and manual entries also invloved. We are planning to present fusion cloud but the most important area is item catalog/category and selection of item in SO. Though we can manage item catalog as item class and category also can be managed but facing trouble here. I will try to use Style/SKU but not sure if it would be useful.
Thanks
Uttam
Hi Deepika,
You can see the screen shot "TIA_Use_case.png" . We need to have this kind of element to be selected to get the appropriate item code. Though we have custom form to get the functionality but in Fusion, customization is not allowed (SaaS) .
In Fusion OM, I don't see such place and we can't customize (SaaS) .
Thanks
Uttam
Hi Deepika,
Let me work with the TIA and how it can help us in our scenario. I will post once I am able to complete the cycle.
Thank you

Hi Deepika,
Here is the TIA at item level (attached the screen shot). Here , we can't update the values, only default values can be populated. Whereas in EFF (user defined attributes, we can enter values .

Hi Deepika,
Thank you very much for your information. But the problem I am facing is that the TIA can't be updated at item level (If I am not wrong). I am in the process of using TIA in Order capture and pricing and it would take a little time at my end. Would you please let me know if any documentation on TIA usage is there in metalink? (I didn't find any useful link on this).
Thank You.

Hi Deepika,
Thank you for your response. Can we use the TIA to add lines into Sales Order? I think Not. Actually the item should be selected by system based on the attributes that we are choosing during order creation. This is what I am looking for. Let me know if any options are there. in EBS, we had to do a lot of customization but here I don't see any option as of R13.
Thanks in advance.

It is a much needed features in some industries like below(can be more):-
1. Clothing (Garments)--(Size/color/design/button type/neck type..etc..)
2. Contact Lens (Axis/Sphere/Pack Size/Brand/Curve etc..)
3. Paint (Color/Grade)
4. Floor Tiles (size/color/thickness/Grade)
5. HealthCare (tissue type/tissue size/Grade in human skin transplantation)
As SaaS doesn't support customization, most of the customer using EBS can't migrate to fusion.
Thanks
