We have heard customers uploading W-9/W-8 as attachments to the supplier profile for reference.

If others have use cases or experience to share on this, please feel free to reply and provide your comment!

Supplier business classifications stored in POZ_BUS_CLASSIFICATIONS are used to track supplier certifications such as minority owned or woman owned.

Are the business classifications in the UK Pro-Class supplier classification system more similar to products and services categories supplied by companies?  If so, you can use the 'Manage Supplier Products and Services Category Hierarchy' setup task to upload them using a spreadsheet.

The Tax Registration Number validation is performed to ensure that there are no duplicate parties in the application. The recommended approach to handle this is to use the supplier de-duplication feature. When you create a supplier, the application will present the potential matches of current parties and let you decide whether an existing party can be used or a new supplier needs be created. When you find the customer party that you also want to create as a supplier, the system will help you to establish a supplier relationship for the same party instead of creating duplicate parties in the application.

For detailed information, you can refer to the Supplier De-duplication feature in the Supplier Data Quality Management release training.

The entities can be set up using the Configure Supplier Registration and Profile Change Request setup task. If the entities are configured as ‘Required’, users are required to provide a value for them during registration. You can change the configuration to ‘Enabled’ or ‘Hidden’ if you want to make the entities optional or hidden respectively.

For detailed information, you can refer to the New Configurable Registration Flows feature in the Supplier Registration Configuration release training.

The address layout can be configured for different countries through the Manage Geographies setup task. There are some seeded layouts for various countries to help customers with their setup. You can change them and add new ones as needed.

For detailed information, you can refer to the Country Driven Address Management feature in the Supplier Data Quality Management release training.

For registration approval, you can configure the approval task according to your business needs. For spend authorization approval, you can configure the approval task to auto approve all the spend authorization requests when the condition Current Business Relationship equals None is met.  This way, the spend authorization requests will be auto approved and the same approvers will not need to approve again.

You can logon as a Procurement Application Administrator and access page composer. On the pages that you want to customize the fields, you can search for the corresponding attributes and make changes.  E.g. hide them or edit the attribute property to mark them as required.

Supplier bank account import is not available as part of supplier import templates. The FBDI template for supplier bank account is located in Financials. You can download the template from there and import supplier bank accounts.

All the tasks in Supplier Portal are secured through job roles. Supplier Self Service Administrator can edit the details of supplier users and assign different job roles based on their business needs. Once the changes are applied, supplier users will only see the relevant tasks.

There is a supplier outbound synchronization service that publishes all the supplier profile changes in Fusion Supplier Model to a configured server and in a predefined XML structure. The server receiving the file in the external application can be configured to receive this file and update their supplier records.
