    Stop creating activity on field service cloud?
    Summary:
    How can I stop the external system creating activity on field service cloud that does not fit with respect to tech's availability?

    We have a use case where an external system should get an alert/intimation before creating activity on OFSC if the job does not fit on any of the tech schedules.

    For example: If we select a slot of 5 PM - 6 PM and the duration of the activity is 1 hour. We have no tech on the field service side, who is working after 4:30 PM, so how can we get this type of information from field service (no tech is available).

    I have tried "findMatchingResources" API, It's returning all the techs in the response.

    Hi Guys,

    I have a question regarding tech location. We haven't procured Smart Location and we want to see the tech's location in only one case that is "when the tech starts an activity". It happens most of the times like they start an activity before reaching to the customer site.

    There is a requirement where we need to show certain miles against each activity. when an activity is completed we need to show that the resource has traveled x miles/km to reach to the customer's site. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Hi Experts,

    I want to assign activities immediately. For example, an activity is created for 1-Aug-2018 then it should be assigned immediately and automatically to the tech. All the future activities should be assigned to the technicians. In short, whenever the activity is created in the bucket it should be assigned to the tech automatically. I have tried immediate routing but I did not get the required outcome.

    I did not find an option to add activity name to the activity progress bar/label. Does anyone have an idea how to add an activity name? I've attached the screenshot.

    I'm trying to create an activity using RestApi, I'm passing "position_in_route" : "unordered" but it is not reflecting and the ordered activity is always created.

    Hi everyone,

    I have successfully integrated OFSC with OSVC. A service agent can create an activity from OSVC, but when I'm updating activity status from OFSC it's not updating status on OSVC.
