Infrastructure Monitoring

Entity Types

In this release, the following new entity types are supported:

  • Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2
  • Azure SQL Database
  • Azure SQL Data Warehouse

Availability Status of Monitored Entities When Cloud Agent is Down

If a cloud agent goes down, then its status is set to ‘Not Heard From’ and it will not be able to continue to monitor entities such as databases, app servers, etc. If this occurs, then in this release, the last known availability status of these monitored entities will be shown with a visual qualifier to indicate that the availability status may not be current, and a tooltip will show the timestamp of when this status was last known.

Add Entity “Create Like”

The Add Entity UI now supports ‘create like’ functionality. Doing a ‘create like’ on an Add Entity job will create a copy of the original Add Entity parameters except for the monitoring credentials which will remain blank. This is useful in scenarios where a previous add entity job may have failed, and you would like to retry it with the convenience of not having to enter all the parameters from scratch.
